ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT THERAPY

a type of CBT (cognitive behavior therapy)- aids individuals in letting go of old behaviors that have hindered them in their life, helps persons overcome struggles, negative thoughts about the self, and to move forward with replacement behaviors that will guide them on the more optimistic and productive path they desire to be on.
