ANTERIOR HORN

1. refers to two regions of gray matter in the ventral spinal cord. These regions contain large motor neurons whose axons construct the ventral roots. Also known as the ventral horn. 2. Refers to the anterior subdivision of lateral ventricles in the brain.

ANTERIOR HORN: "The anterior horn is comprised of large motor neurons and comprises part of the ventral roots. "
