ASSYMPTOTIC NORMALITY

a property of a statistical distribution whereby the distribution becomes indistinguishable from the normal distribution, because one or more of its parameters becomes extremely large.

ASSYMPTOTIC NORMALITY: "Asymptotic normality occurs when one of the parameters of the statistic becomes extremely large."
