ASTHENIC TYPE

a body type characterized by a long- limbed, narrow-chested, weak looking physique. According to some typologies, such individuals tend to be shy, sensitive, and introversive in temperament, although there is minimal evidence to suggest this. Also known as leptosome type. See also constitutional type.

ASTHENIC TYPE: "An asthenic type of body is characterized by long limbs and some say, an introverted personality."
