ATYPICAL, MIXED, OR OTHER PERSONALITY DISORDER

in DSM-IV-TR, a category of personality disorders for which there is insufficient evidence for a more specific designation - that is, the person does not meet criteria for one particular personality disorder, but disorder is present. Types of personality disorders that remain unclassified cases, such as masochistic, impulsive, or immature personality disorder may be diagnosed.

ATYPICAL, MIXED, OR OTHER PERSONALITY DISORDER: "A person with an atypical, mixed, or other personality disorder does not meet criteria for a full personality disorder diagnosis, as laid out by the DSM-IV-TR."
