BEHAVIORIST

n. in psychology, refers either to the person or to the school of thought which practices behaviorism. For instance, a person who advocates behaviorism would approach problems and activities using its principles. See behavior analysis.

BEHAVIORIST: "A behaviorist is a scientist who studies behavior based on observable, quantifiable measures."
