BIOLOGICAL VIEWPOINT

n. a perspective which involves viewing problems in psychology from the standpoint of biology. In abnormal psychology, it is an approach based on causative factors which are biological, physiological, and organic.

BIOLOGICAL VIEWPOINT: "From the biological viewpoint, it is highly probable that beta-amyloid plaques may in fact be a causative factor in Alzheimer's disease."
