BLAST OLFACTOMETER

n. an olfactometer that introduces a test odor into the nasal cavities in a blast of air. To milden the tactile effects of sending an odorant in pulses or blasts, they are now introduced as a constant airstream. See stream olfactometer- also zwaardemaker olfactometer.
