BONE CONDUCTION

n. the conduction of sound waves as they are transmitted through the inner ear and onto the bones of the skull.The transmission happens differently for low-pitched and high-pitched sounds, and it mostly depends on how the skull vibrates.

BONE CONDUCTION: "Sound is transmitted from the environment, through the inner ear, and into the head and skull via bone conduction."
