BOTTLE BABY

sl. Slang term which refers to a child born to a mother addicted on crack (crack cocaine) while pregnant. This form of infantile addiction may be subtle but it does significantly cause deficits in cognitive performance, learning, and attention.

BOTTLE BABY: "A bottle baby manages to survive the crack habit althroughout pregnancy and delivery, but he or she tends to be born with certain deficits."
