BULBOCAVERNOUS REFLEX

n. a contraction of the bulbocavernosus muscle when the head of the penis is stimulated. When this reflex is absent, it could be indicative of spinal shock or be diagnosed as an impairment of nerves transmitting impulses from penis to spinal cord.
