BULKY COLOR

n. a transparent or semi-transparent color which serves as a filling for space in a three-dimensional image. Also refers to color as an attribute when it is seen in the entire volume of a stimulus. Compare film color- also surface color.

BULKY COLOR: "When a drop of red coloring is dissolved in a glass of clear water, red becomes a bulky color."
