CONDITIONAL DISCHARGE

the act of releasing someone from a psychiatric hospital with the burden of specific stipulations and restrictions, under which the person remains the responsibility of the hospital and wherein behavior must align with such conditions

CONDITIONAL DISCHARGE: "The doctor agreed to Martha conditional discharge, but warned her to return immediately if any element of her illness worsened."
