CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR

a person who is against the concept of war and against all plans and training for such a battle, who rejects the idea of serving in the military for spiritual or moral reasons.

CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR: "Not all bereaved parents who have lost their children in battle are proud of the military- some are serious conscientious objectors."
