FAMILY METHOD

with respect to behaviour genetics, one of the many studies in psychology and biology, the family method is the frequency of a specific trait which is determined by its occurrence in relatives who share the same genetic background; such as parents.

FAMILY METHOD: "Some studies of behavioural genetics, have adopted the family method looking at the frequency of a specific trait or disorder in genetically similar relatives."
