LEK DISPLAY

The phenomenon where a group of males arrive at a location and establish individual territories in the pack which they rigorously defend. Once established, they perform elaborate visual and vocal displays helping to win a successful mate.

LEK DISPLAY: "Displays with birds are common examples of Lek displays, males will accumulate and wait for females to mate with after establishing their territory."
