LIFE-CHANGE UNIT (LCU)

a unit of measurement which is found on the life-events rating scale. The life-events rating scale assigns values to potential events in an individuals life, which are then counted and from this a measure of the degree of stressful events in that individuals life can be obtained and then analysed.

LIFE-CHANGE UNIT (LCU): "One of the life-change units which looks at potential events in an individuals life, which can quantify their level of stressful occurrences."
