MATURATIONAL CRISIS

is a state which describes a period of intense disorganization of an individuals mood or emotions which typically arise during between one developmental phase and another such as getting married or retiring.

MATURATIONAL CRISIS: "Maturational crises typically occur during extremely stressful events during an individuals life resulting in intense disorganization of an individuals mood."
