MEANINGLESSNESS

is the idea of an absence of any significance in findings or a lack of direction even in one's life. Typically associated depression and conversely research which has achieved no significant results.

MEANINGLESSNESS: "Some would argue that committing a crime for which the punishment will outweigh the crim is meaningless."
