MENTAL DISORDER

is an umbrella a term used to describe any psychological symptoms, abnormal behaviours, impaired functioning or any combination of the prior. There is a wide range of explanations available for these mental disorders some more credible than the others including- genetics, social, organic, chemical and psychological explanations.

MENTAL DISORDER: "Mental disorders such as schizophrenia manifest themselves through a variety of symptoms and develop due to an equally varied number of both genetic and physiological changes in the body."
