METEMPSYCHOSIS

is the belief that upon death of a human being or an animal, their soul leaves that body and assumes a new host. This belief is one of the basic doctrines of the Hinduism and Buddhism religions, under the title of Samsara which is the cycle of birth, life, death and then rebirth.

METEMPSYCHOSIS: "Metempsychosis is the belief that upon death, the spirit or life force of an animal or person leaves their body and attempts to find another host."
