NEED AROUSAL

is a method used in advertising which plays on a desire or requirement of the target to try and sell the product to them, for example they require security, therefore they should purchase an alarm.

NEED AROUSAL: "In some marketing, companies will use an individuals need for arousal to entice them to purchase an item."
