NEFAZODONE

is an antidepressant drug which is related (chemical comparison) to the drug trazodone. Nefazodone is an serotonin antagonist drug, which inhibits the reuptake of both serotonin and norepinephrine at synapses in the human body, hence increasing their concentration and therefore effect.

NEFAZODONE: "Manic depression sufferers are typically prescribed nefazodone which inhibits the uptake of both serotonin and norepinephrine."
