NIGHTMARE

is a dream which is characterized as being frightening or disturbing to the individual which can induce feelings of fear, sadness and despair. Nightmare content typically has two meanings, the latent and manifest content, latent is the underlying meaning of the dream with the manifest content simply being a connotative meaning.

NIGHTMARE: "All individuals in their lives will suffer from nightmares, the chances of avoiding them are greater though if you remove foods from your diet before bed (at dinner) which stimulate the release of hormones."
