NUCLEAR SURETY PERSONNEL RELIABILITY PROGRAM

a special evaluation program to attain safety aligned with operational preparedness and to lessen the impacts of accidents, incidents, and deficiencies in handling nuclear weapons. Two or more individuals must be present when a job is performed with the assistance of a nuclear weapon. People accresited under the program are educated to perform these tasks and to make the proper decisions.
