PALINOPSIA

the continuation or reappearance of an image after the stimulant has been eliminated. Palinopsia is correlated with posterior brain damage, drug impacts, and seizures. Commonly referred to as palinopia.

PALINOPSIA: "Three days after the accident, Karen is still experiencing episodes of palinopsia."
