PEDIGREE METHOD

the analysis of family history and genealogy as a way of tracing traits which may be hereditary. The technique was employed by British scientist Francis in his analysis of genius and by Henry Herbert Goddaki in his analysis of cognitive retardation.

PEDIGREE METHOD: "The pedigree method is used in animal studies to predict the likelihood of a poodle breed exhibiting aggression toward children."
