PHENYLPYRUVIC OLIGOPHRENIA

an intense type of cognitive retardation which is correlated with or because of an innate error of metabolism of phenylalanine, as in instances of phenylketonuria. Formative dietary limitation of phenylalanine might bring intellect up to par or close to such a range.
