PLAYFULNESS

noun. the propensity to see the light or bright side of life, to joke with other people, and not to take things too seriously in life, keeping a positive state of mind. Playfulness is thought to be the groundwork of humor.

PLAYFULNESS: "His playfulness was something she admired most, and needed in her life."
