PROPOXYPHENE

Propoxyphene is a synthetic opoioid. In relation to codeine, approximately half as effective in pain control. Usually formulated with an NSAID, it is designed for the management of moderate pain. Among it's trade names in the U.S are Darvon and Darvocet.
