Primarily a personality disorder as opposed to an actual form of schizophrenia. Patients who suffer from it are generally diagnoses with schizotypal personality disorder.

PSEUDONEUROTIC SCHIZOPHRENIA: "The patient appeared schizoid, but was merely suffering from psudoneurotic schizophrenia."
