RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR (RNG)

A device or software to produce true, random output. In parapsychological experimentation, true random number generators are utilized to test the ability of so-called psychics to influence the actions of random number generation simply by the power of their psyches. RNGs are used in cryptography and certain financial simulations.
