ROLE OVERLOAD

Scenario wherein a person is expected to accomplish more than the person is able to do in a particular time frame (quantitative overload) or wherein a person is taxed beyond their understanding, competencies, or talents (qualitative overload).

ROLE OVERLOAD: "As a new employee on a very busy day, it's quite understandable that he experienced role overload."
