SECTIONING

Academic procedure of presenting the same class, generally taught by the same instructor, repeatedly throughout the day. This allows a great number of pupils to take identical classes but maintains s low student-to-instructor ratio.

SECTIONING: "By offering sectioning, the university was able to offer very good teacher-to-student class ratios."
