SIGNAL-TO-NOISE RATIO (SN)

a ratio of the power of a signal to the power of noise that is expressed in decibels. If the signal is speech it is called speech to noise ratio.

SIGNAL-TO-NOISE RATIO (SN): "The signal to noise ratio is expressed as decibels."
