SOCIAL TUNNELING

Psychological state that occurs when a person is involved with a task that is stressful or demanding and tends to ignore social cues that could be task relevant. See cognitive tunnelling.

SOCIAL TUNNELING: "Joe was social tunnelling as he was so immersed in his task he was missing cues to help him out."
