SOMATIC OBSESSION

the preoccupation with a body part or the whole body. It can involve the constant checking of the body part, comparing with others and seeking reassurance about it. It is part of body dysmorphic disorder but can also be a part of obsessive compulsive disorder.

SOMATIC OBSESSION: "In somatic obsession a person becomes obsessed about their whole body or a part of it."
