Is the specification of nervous system; through this process of filtering only relevant stimuli reach to the brain where others are unable to reach. Moths have ears with only two neurons to respond by filtration.

STIMULUS FILTERING: "Stimulus filtering states the loudness of a sound which can be heard by the ear."
