TERATOGENIC

eliciting developmental irregularities within a fetus. A teratogen is an agent or procedure which elicits such irregular or odd growth; a procedure referred to as terato-genesis; a teratomorph is a fetus or child with growth irregularities.

TERATOGENIC: "For the purpose of tomorrow's discussion, you'll need to preface yourself with the section on teratogenics this evening."
