VICARIOUS FUNCTION

a theory to depict the capacity to bounce back from the impacts of brain injury. It is based upon proofs that a multitude of operations are not only centralized inside the brain, and that a multitude of brain regions can adopt an operation formerly carried out by a brain region which has been injured.
