VOODOO DEATH

a culturally-bound syndrome viewed in Africa, Caribbean and Pacific islands, Haiti, and Australia. A person who has went against a ritual or taboo is hexed or cursed by a sorcerer or medicine man by pointing a bone toward the culprit and they die within a few days time. Commonly referred to as bone pointing.
