F TEST

is an umbrella term used to describe any test which looks at hypotheses which reliy on the sampling distribution with respect to the null hypothesis, being distributed as the f distribution, which results in an f ratio.

F TEST: "One of the multitude of variables and 'f' referenced words. An f test will involve an f distribution and an f ratio too."
