FOCAL DEGENERATION

The development of a lesion or dysfunction in a specific area of the brain due to degenerative processes. The lesion may remain limited in focus or spread into neighbouring areas.

FOCAL DEGENERATION: "Focal degeneration is in a certain area of the brain."
