LIKERT SCALE

a scale which measures a perceived opinion of an object by a participant by using statements which reflect either a strong positive or negative opinion of an object.

LIKERT SCALE: "Polar options in a questionnaire, such as those used in the likert scale ask participants to make a judgement on an object providing either a strongly positive or negative response."
