aims to examine an individuals tendency towards neuroticism. Participants are shown case histories and other related material with their responses either agreement or disagreement being recorded and analysed.

NEUROTIC INVENTORY: "The neurotic inventory is a list of trends or behaviours which when compared with a personality can provide a subjective measure of neuroticity."
