LARYNGEAL CANCER

Cancerous growths that affect the larynx or vocal cords. Higher incidents of this form of cancer affect the male population. Risk factors include smoking and alcohol use. Symptoms include hoarseness and sore throat. As the tumors grow, it will interfere with swallowing and breathing. Treatment consists of surgery or radiation or both depending on the severity.
