VIBRATOR

noun. an appliance consisting of a minor electric motor which generates a vibrating action, utilized to arouse the genitalia and other sensitive regions during masturbation or carnal acts with someone else. The tool might be electrical or battery-powered. Some vibrators can be affixed onto the hand with a strap, causing the fingers to vibrate during carnal arousal. Another kind has a vibrating mechanism on which many attachments of differing sizes, shapes, and textures can be positioned, and these arouse the body with direct contact. Other vibrators are cylindrical and can be utilized on the body's exterior or placed inside of the vagina or anus.
